How Mándamele handles data

Connection setup and transferred content follow separate paths. These are the practical limits.

Transferred content

After the browsers connect, text and files move through their DataChannel. Mándamele does not deliberately log that content or place it in permanent server storage; copies saved on either device remain outside its control.

Connection data

The service processes the temporary code, state, timestamps and technical data needed to operate, diagnose and protect the connection. Metrics use broad categories rather than transferred text, file names or file contents.

Temporary by default

A new anonymous code allows ten minutes for joining, and a connected Pase closes after thirty minutes without activity. Closing a Pase does not remove downloads or copies already saved.

Important limits

Browser or network restrictions can prevent a direct connection, and there is no content relay fallback. Mándamele also provides no malware scanning, file recovery or remote deletion.
