Mándamele FAQ
Direct answers about what the current service does and does not do.
Do I need an account?
No. Creating a temporary Pase, joining with its code, and sending text or files works without signing in.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Mándamele runs in the browser and has no app installation requirement for the temporary transfer flow.
Which device should create the Pase?
Either one. The receiving device can create the code and the sending device can join it. Once connected, both browsers can send and receive.
Is the transfer browser to browser?
Yes. The server helps the browsers find and connect to each other; after that, text and files travel over their direct connection.
Are transferred files stored on Mándamele servers?
No permanent server storage is used for transferred text or files. Copies can still remain in browser memory, downloads, clipboards, previews or on the recipient's device.
How long does a temporary code last?
A new anonymous code is available for ten minutes to establish the connection. An anonymous connected Pase closes after thirty minutes without activity.
Which devices can I connect?
You can use compatible modern browsers on phones and computers. Both browsers must remain open, and some restrictive networks may prevent a direct connection.
What is the file size limit?
The current limit is 50 MB per file. The transfer must finish while both browsers remain connected.
Does Mándamele work offline?
No. Both browsers need network access to create or open the code and establish the direct connection.
Should I use it for sensitive or irreplaceable files?
Do not rely on Mándamele as the only method for sensitive, critical or irreplaceable content. No transfer system can guarantee availability, delivery or absolute security.
